General

  • Yes! Pensacola Beach is on the beautiful Santa Rosa Island, located on the Gulf side. Our unique spot gives us completely unobstructed views of Little Sabine Bay or the Gulf of Mexico.

  • In Pensacola, the temperature typically varies from 45°F to 89°F and is rarely below 31°F or above 94°F.

  • Directions from Pensacola Municipal Airport:
    Proceed southeast on Merlion Way for 665 meters. Make a left onto Merlion Way and travel 14 meters, then make a right and continue for 43 meters before making another right. After going 21 meters, turn right towards Merlion Way and travel 48 meters. Continue on Merlion Way for 802 meters. Take a left onto Langley Ave and continue for 643 meters, then turn left onto Tippin Ave and travel 1.0 kilometer. Stay on N 12th Ave for 2.7 kilometers, then turn right onto E Fairfield Dr and go 1.4 kilometers. Make a left, take the ramp onto I-110 S towards Pensacola Beach, and drive for 3.7 kilometers. Take exit 1C for Garden St. onto US-98-BR W (E Garden St) and travel 1.5 kilometers. Turn left onto S Spring St and go 652 meters to reach your destination on the right at S Spring St.

  • Not on-site, but we do offer send-out service Monday through Friday. The laundromat provides simple wash-and-fold or dry-cleaning services.

Resort Policies

  • Yes, yes, and yes! We are proud of our family-friendly accommodations and activities. We’re happy to offer a lifetime of memories for the whole family.

  • Unfortunately, most of Santa Rosa Island does not allow pets. Therefore, the resort is not pet-friendly. The Pensacola Beach Resort guarantees the right of people with disabilities to be accompanied by a trained service animal in the hotel and all public spaces.

  • The Pensacola Beach Resort does not have additional fees. Your vacation experience is completely customizable, and you are free to purchase any activity when you please. We do have a mandatory incidental deposit of $50 which is refundable upon checkout if no additional charges are made to your room.

  • The Pensacola Beach Resort does not permit smoking or vaping in any of its rooms or indoor areas. We are 100% smoke-free and vape-free. Our no-smoking policy involves a fine of $250.

  • We have a quiet enjoyment policy — quiet hours are from 10 PM – 8 AM.

  • No, we do not require a damage deposit.

  • All reservations require a credit card for the room. Reservations will be charged on the day of arrival to guarantee the room unless, at the time of booking, the rate or package you book states otherwise.

  • The minimum age to book a room at The Pensacola Beach Resort is 21 years old.

  • Yes. Available payment includes a check sent at least two weeks before the scheduled stay. Contact our guest services team to set this up at [email protected] or 850.916.9755.

  • We offer free cancellation up to 6 PM 3 days prior to arrival.

Accommodations

  • All rooms are equipped with a small fridge — perfect for drinks, leftovers, and snacks. Unfortunately, no rooms offer kitchenettes or microwaves, but our Guest Services representatives are more than happy to microwave your leftovers or popcorn for you.

  • Check-in is at 4 PM or later, and check-out is by 11 AM. If you arrive before 4 PM, please feel free to stop by the front desk and inform us you are on the property. If we do not have a room available for check-in at that time, please enjoy the facilities, hit the beach, or grab a drink.

  • Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability. Please check with the front desk for availability and additional fees.

  • A rollaway bed may be requested for a cost of $50. All rollaways are based on availability and guest room size. Please email us at [email protected] to submit your request.

  • The Pensacola Beach Resort offers a selection of accessible accommodations. Please refer to our ADA section on our website for additional information.

  • Yes! Feel free to store your luggage at the front desk, then get out and explore the area.

  • Standard rooms are identical for both views. All Gulf rooms have a balcony and face south to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Beach. Bay view rooms, with or without a balcony, face north to scenic Little Sabine Bay, dotted with beautiful homes and sailboats.

  • No, but we do have board games (like life-size Jenga!) and family-friendly events.

Dining

  • We have two restaurants and one bar here at the resort. Windrose, located in the hotel lobby, is for hotel guests only and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Salty Rose is an open-air beach bar and grille, open to the public for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The outdoor Tiki Bar is for guest use only seasonally and is open until sunset.

Activities & Events

  • Yes! We have live music from Memorial Day until Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

  • Yes, the resort has a 24-hour fitness center that features state-of-the-art cardio machines and free weights.

  • Lazy Days Beach Services rents sets of chaise lounges, umbrellas, cabanas, kayaks, and much more. You can set up rentals upon arrival through the beach services team or in advance online at www.lazydaysbeachrentals.com. They are available every day during the summer (weather permitting). Prices vary throughout the season.

  • Our amenities are available for hotel guests only. We want to make sure there is ample space for our guests to enjoy themselves! We welcome all non-registered guests to visit us at The Salty Rose, our open-air beach bar and grille next door, during business hours.

  • Our beautiful, heated zero-entry pool is located outdoors.

Weddings & Meetings

  • Our banquet hall is conveniently located in the hotel lobby around the corner from the front desk. We have a pier from the hotel lobby leading to the beach for outdoor events.

  • Yes, there is plenty of self-parking available for your guests.

  • Yes, room blocks can be reserved through your wedding specialist. Guestroom blocks consist of at least ten rooms and must be booked at least 45 days before the event. All guest room blocks must be guaranteed.

  • We do not offer a shuttle to and from the hotel. Your wedding specialist can connect you with one of our transportation partners.

  • We try very hard to shape the event around each group’s specific needs and will alter the menu if someone has an allergy or dietary restriction.

  • We accept bookings within a year from the event date.

  • Once we send out the contract, your group has two weeks to review. The deposit must be paid when the contract is signed and returned.

  • The Lagoon East and West rooms comfortably accommodate 80 guests or less, with a maximum of 100 guests.

  • We do not offer exclusivity at the hotel. However, our wedding venue offers its own bar and reception area, which is closed to the public.

  • The Pensacola Beach Resort must provide all food and beverage.

  • The food and beverage guarantee is based on the package or menu items you choose.
